Program diverts food from landfill to children and families

The Zero Hunger in Schools Program is a United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA New South Wales Division), Capgemini, and the Local Community Services Association initiative that aims to reduce food waste and provide food to families and children in need. 

The program works with local schools and community centres to connect donors with food that would otherwise be thrown away.
